Thinking about taking the plunge again..300E Question..
I sold my 92' 300E to a friend last year and regret it. I'm looking at a 1989 300E in good physical condition for $1300 with decent owner history. The main issue is the occasional cut-out when at running speed.
My question is simple. What is the worst case scenario for this problem and possible expense? If its a fuel pump or filter, I can live with that. Are there possibilities I shouldn't be able to live with? Mark from Indy |

"is the occasional cut-out when at running speed"??? or the stalling when exiting the freeway onto the ramp??
happened just once to my 89 300 in 2000 miles, started right up while coasting lot has been written on this problem between here and other forms, and almost every part has been thrown at it ~~~ don't think anybody has pin pointed what definitely fixes this problem yet
