the usual 220 s500 airmatic nightmare
Went out to my car this morning and the passenger wheel well was on the tire. The display message was akin to take car to dealer. After a few minutes the car lifted and was fine....for a few minutes...then the same message. When I unlock the car I hear the compressor churning.....is this most likely a leak at the right strut? I've sprayed soap...but can't find bubbles.
Also, where is the 38 pin connector on this car (I've owned a 140 until recently and can't seem to locate anything other than the ODBII connector). BTW - I put 275k on my 140 with minimal problems. My 220 has also been solid...up to 90k......this could be the breaking point.

If you wait very long you will most likely need a pump as well! get your strut replaced.
The struts leak at the top & at the bellows. ONLY has an ODB2 connector.

Is there anything that needs to be done to let down the system given the car is resting on/close to the wheel, I'm assuming the system is fully depleted. Also, post new strut installation will the car need to be put into Rodeo mode? Is this something that requires dealer intervention?
Thanks.
