modding/upgrading lights on 94C280

I was just wondering if there would be any problems (compatibility)
1.with changing the 1994 L/R rear light covers (you know the red triangular plastic light covers?) to the 1999 light covers that have a darker tint to it. The plastic covers are already starting to crack so I wanted to upgrade them to the 1999 version... anyone know how much those covers might cost?
2.with changing the headlight housing/lens and upgrading to HID lights... my headlight lens is already turning brown... Cost?
3. with changing the front turn signals to the clear ones (lorinser?)

thanks for your help !!!

I have looked into changing the rear tail lights to the 98-00, but each side is roughly $200. Not worth it, unless they somehow get damaged. THen I would do it.

As for the headlight lens, I believe those are a little cheaper. Something like $125 (don't quote me). I think you can get the 98-00 ones at bekker.com. I have also thought about doing this. But probably will not until/if it needs to be done.
As for the HID, you're looking at $1700 + to get OEM ones, DEFINITLY not worth it.

The turn signals (clear corners) can be had for a lot cheaper (I think about $50 or so). You can try www.bekkers.com for them, I think they have them There was also a recent post in the OPEN DISCUSSION on this (probably on 2nd page now). Try looking there.

Good luck!

Thanks a lot david!!! well... yea.. the back lights on the benz are cracking so they do need replacing... probably within the year before it starts letting moisture inside and wreaking all havoc on the electrical system.. so i dont want to chance it... but 200 each!!! wow...

I dont think I will be doing the HID conversion.. a little overboard there!!! hahaha.. but the lens needs changing since it is really white/brown/foggy already.

now about the clear corners... if they only $50... wow.. I'm up to get them... again thanks for your help!!!
