Re-installed dash, now I've got an extra wire?

Removed instrument cluster to install new speedo cable, plugged in all the lights, connectors, ect. Came up with an extra wire with a black plug with a small male pin connector. The wire is green and yellow and I can't find where the heck it plugs into. I don't even know if it is suppose to go to the cluster. It just popped out with the wire harness when the cluster was removed. Any suggestions? I checked a wiring diagram for the instrument panel and don't see any green/ yellow wires indicated. Turned on the switch and everything looks like it works. For now, I just tucked it away and hoping for the best.

Don't have a picture as of yet. Let me try to describe it better. yellow and green wire, separate from the cluster harness behind the assembly. Has black connector that looks oval but apparently is made to insert into something because of the small center pin. It also has a small black plastic clip made onto the rim of the connector. The whole plug is about 1/4 inch by 1/4 inch with the center pin in the middle.

My thinking is it is some after market phone crap that got left under the dash, but it sure looks like a MB connector. I'll get a picture as soon as my wife returns with my digital camera. Thanks

Looking close at the wires in your photo, I don't think it is. I see a green striped wire but can't tell what it goes to in the photo. Mine is just a single strand wire which is green with a yellow stripe and has the connector on the end. It is definitely a hot wire because of the pin in the plug. Thanks, like I say, I'll get a photo soon as my camera gets back.
