A complete fraud, just pathetic!!!

If you thought that the Chinese female athletic team was a complete fraud, just look at the pic below.

ABOVE: M.B. C-class

BELOW: The Chinese Geely 300CE.

At first I thought it was hilarious, but giving it a second thought it is just plainly pathetic!

Don't get me started on the quality, finish and safety of the Geely 300CE, which equals that of a chinese made toy, you can make your own conclusions.

I saw a Chinese cruiser type motorcycle yesterday... looked and sounded harleyesque, but you wouldn't catch my butt on one. Those folks sure are world class copy-cats.

Did people say the same thing in the 70's about Japan/Taiwan manufactured goods? Especially cars and motorcycles? Is this just part the 'cycle'?

typical Chinese. . .rip off and degrade. . .if you look hard enough at it you can see some parts, such as the mirrors and the design of the lower air dam that signify low end production.

Yep, they can copy the look, but not the "feel". Take a look at these:

Not quite as bad as this Russian model though:

Perhaps during the Daimler-Chrysler days, when starved for funding, they sold some of the stamping molds to the Chinese?

Daimler sold the rights to produce W124 variant to the South Koreans. While, up in North Korea, they "reversed engineered" a W201 and other cars.
