Please see the attached picture. Can anyone tell me whether this fuel pump has the locking screw feature?

I am confused and in the middle of engine refurbishment, parts all over the place , and grease all over the furniture keyboard and PC.

The large plug is where the locking pin goes!! YES you can lock pump & set timing at 15degATDC on this pump. Tool part number 601-589-05-21-00.

I believe the 85 models use 24 degrees after TDC.

It all depends on what method of "timing" you choose. The 15 degree figure is correct for the "lock screw" method and 24 degrees is correct for the other (drip-time, or high-pressure fuel flow) method of timing the pump.
