What about these new Fiber Optic Systems?
Fiber optic radio systems
OK- From what I gather on this site, it seems like the fiber optic cables used in newer MBs mean that the components (CD changers etc) will NOT work in the older models. I don't see why one cant just purchase some fiber optic cable and hook things up. I know VERY little about MB stereos but I am trying to learn. This site here sells the FO cable: http://www.mbdoctor.com/shop/index.p...9a700e5d005ec5 The reason I ask: I have a Becker 3302 from a 1999 e320 that I want to put in my '90 300SE. That connections on the back look to be standard modern "ISO" hook ups. I would also like to add an amplifier...how hard would this be?
