Hood insulation
1989 300te...the hood insulation is just about dust. If I don't want to spring for the MB replacement...any suggestions on aftermarket hood insulation?

I'm no fan of any of the crap aftermarket pads out there. The one on my '85 380SE fell apart after less than 5 years. I posted a how-to on making your own pad from readily available truck cab liner. DIY How to cut and install a QUALITY hood pad - better than OEM IMO
It's only been one summers driving so far for this pad on my 560SL, but it's holding up extremely well so far.
