85 190e
I found a 1985 190e 2.3 that has an airbag and dual power seats! I did not know they went back that far! It is a one owner and has a solid rust free body and a decent interior. The car runs great and has 153k miles.
My problem is that it needs a tranny. It is an automatic and I can pick up the car for $800. Is this a good deal? Where can I get a used tranny? Atlanta-Stuttgart is out. Does anyone have any suggestions? They also have a 81 300d for sale with 288k miles. It looks even better than the 190! Good Michelins and they said they spent $8 on the engine and tranny the past 2 yrs! I can buy it for $1200. I know that is fair. Thanks!
