clear error codes w140 - PeachParts Mercedes-Benz Forum

I have a w140 and need to clear the error codes. I know there is a procedure to do this thru the led on top of the engine. I have forgotten what it is. I can read the 26 out but want to clear it to see if it happens again. Can't remember where I read how to clear them. Thanks,

Pretty sure that when you press the button that displays the code, after the code is displayed, press and hold the button for 5 seconds - that should erase the code.

Working from memory here - other's will correct me if I'm wrong.

"26" = Upshift delay 1 to 2 or 2 to 3.
