New wasserpumpen, now no heat

Just finished replacing the water pump in our 91 300TE 4matic (gee, that was fun) and now I have no heat at the dash - no matter what climate control settings are selected.

She idles at 90C rock solid, thermostat opens and closes as expected.

Any suggestions?

You might need to burp the baby. Could be air in the line.

'twas my thinking. Exactly how does one go about burping a two ton wagon?

You can go out and drive it 60 in low gear with the heat on high till it is, or you can jump the auxilary water pump.
