Cool, thanks for the info.

So, today I went down to the parts store hoping the BP5EFS plugs came in and to surprise TR5's came in instead, they are the V-Power series. By this time, I thought I was just going to have to give in and make do with resistors until I ordered some off Ebay. All of a sudden another one of the sales guys comes out of the back with some Bosch boxes, what were they? H9DC's, the last 6 in stock, and probably the last ones they will ever carry, they can't even order them. So anyhow, looks like I'll be buying the correct NGK's off Ebay. Oh, I also read somewhere on this forum that Beru is going to remedy this resistor problem with a non-resister oem plug for the M103 that should be widely available.

May I ask, why you dont like the H9DCs? I was having a terrible time with them fouling. I was just wondering about you.

Thumbs up

I use the BP5EFS in my 300SEL, no issues.

REMEMBER, NGK's heat range drops as the number increases... this is opposite of Bosch.

I have only had them in my car for 4 days so, I can't really say if I like them or not. I have always used NGK's in 3 of my previous Audi's and absolutely loved them. The PO had the plugs done about a year ago but the shop had installed resistors. I looked on the service record from that time and it says they put in H9DC's but, it seems that they placed an order for them but, received the resistor type as the H9DC's have been superseded and just threw them in there anyway. And yes, NGK's heat range is the opposite of Bosch's, the lower the number the hotter the plug (on NGK).
