1995 c280 p0412 sec air injection valve A
I just changed my engine harness and after got a fault code with check engine light p0412 and sec air injec valve A I replaced some vacum hoses did I cross some wiring on the switchover valve because I forgot which went where but they seemed to fit by length.Or do I still have a vacum leak.I was able to clear the code it only comes on when I start the car after beeing cold?

You may have the EGR and AIR SOV lines crossed. Common mistake as the
two SOV are piggy-backed together... it could be either the wires or the vac lines

Arther could you find me a link to see the routing I think the air lines for vacum are correct.But the plugs not sure maybe swapped they are tight and I think I did them by length....Thankyou

Where did you get the wiring Harness and what was the reason you decided to change it. Was the car running pretty bad. I also have read through here about some of the wiring harnesses degrading on the 280's, what year did they fix that.... sorry to break into your thread but I am having alot of problems with my 280.... |
