1995 c280 speedometer and tach intermittent

Ok after changing my wiring harness I noticed my speedometer and tach would not work then start working.I had mis connected at the switchover valve the connectors and vacum lines for seloniod A and b and connected one to the airpiump,Now I sprayed lps into the switchover valve and this problem started.Also my background lights at the speedometer half in the cluster are out.And my fuel gauge is also not comming on reading the correct value.Thanks for any help

still have this problem is it the harness or instrument cluster. I did not have this till I changed the harness is it the switch over valve.I have no woring diagrams for this.

I would suspect a bad ground connection. I believe there is more than one ground connection from the cluster. Did you ever have the cluster out? You are talking about 4 different things wrong that don't have much in common other than possibly: Same power source, same ground, same circuit board?

I never had the cluster out.My fuel gauge does not always work some lights for the gauges are out and now the sppedo and tach.Sometimes it works oh and the water temp is also out.Where is the ground at the cluster or elsewhere is the circuit board a entire cluster change.
