Annoying buzzer

I have a 1994 E320 convertible. When I start the car, there is a most annoying warning buzzer. Is this buzzer accessible, removable, able to be smashed with a large hammer into tiny little bits? If I get it out, I'll post pics of me smashing the sh** out of this most irksome little device.
Cheers, Elliot

I don't think I would do that. Sounds like it may be the warning buzzer for your top. You may want to try and reset the top and see if that quiets it.

Put your seat belt on.

Does the buzzing eventually stop after about 10 seconds? Maybe its the fuel pump buzzer warning you not to start the car until after the buzzing has stopped....

If it is the seat bell buzzer it may be disabled by unplugging a wire under the seat - the one with black connectors.

I believe the buzzer also serves as a warning that your headlights are on. I'd keep the buzzer for that reason alone.
