E350 Fuel Gauge Bad - Replace The Tank?
Is this really correct? The fuel gauge on my '07 E350 failed. The dealer verified this as a bad sending unit and the repair is to replace the entire tank! Has anyone heard of this?

Maybe changing the whole tank is how they fix the sensors, because that is what they are doing, or say they are doing. Of course being under warranty, may be that is the easiest way they greatest return from the factory.
