Rough at idle

Hello everyone,

Yesterday, the guy that did the detailing steamed clean the engine of my 94 C280, and the car was not the same ever since. Enginne was shaking badly at idle and now hesitate as it goes.

Would it be any vacuum hose got knocked off when they clean with the water presure or water got in the fuel system?

Please help to see if anything I can do before the dealler put a big hand on it.

Thank you very much for the helps.

Golden

Your just going to have to wait for it to dry out. You probably have a wet spark plug wire terminal.

Do a search, this has been discussed a number of times. Engine-bay steam cleaning can be risky business!! HOpefully it's nothing and it will just dry out...

Thumbs up

Thank you all very much. After a couple of days of rough driving, it finally dried out, and runs smooth now. Thanks.
