Question How to test fan clutch

Car is 1992 300 TE.

If fan will not spin by hand when engine is cold does that mean it's not working and needs to be replaced.

Unless it's totally locked up with the engine off, then the reverse is actually true. A healthy amount of resistance shows it's probably in good shape.

Do a search on the broomstick method. Worked for me.
