Well... with this recession starting to hit us and we're all losing our jobs, I am trying to penny pinch here a bit, so I picked up the 2-DVD pack WIS service manual off ebay. Of course it only cost me $25 with shipping for 2 burnt DVD's. Ver G.07.03
Tried installing it for the last 8 hours as per instructions. Installed the microsoft loop back adapter, running XP pro on my laptop, tons of hard-drive room, 2G ram, etc. Chose yes to have PM manager installed....diabled screen saver.
I get as far as installing hard disk cache option where I choose yes. After about 2 min, it says insert CD-ROM "DB-WIS-001" into D(\WIS\). The only way out is to abort the install.
Tried on 2 different PC's. No luck.
Does anyone have info on this to help me out. Searched all forums for the last 3 hrs and nothing specific to this problem.

Should I give up on this? Almost seems these WIS hacked copies available on ebay are crap.

Help please... got some major repairs I must undertake.

i ran into the same problems with those copys off ebay. I brought an orginal disc set off ebay and that problem went away.

I have wis and can send you documents you need, just let me know.
