I pulled one as a core that was a 120.

Had the same issue on my 300E. Blower would squeak once in a while, thought I'd get around to lubing it. Then it squeaked again and at the same time slowed down and dimmed the lights. It's way of saying it wants attention, NOW. Bearings were stiff, brushes were worn down, but the clincher was that the commutator was also noticeably worn. $60 and a few hours later and all was as it should be.

Richard, I made an error. Checked receipt and it was right around $90 (very close to Fastlane on this site), not $60. That is of course without fan blades. Blade removal was done using the smallest puller that Autozone would lend (measure distances and orientation before removing). Getting the fans back on was a bit of a pain but not as much pain as the difference in cost would have been for a motor with blades.

What you don't want is to ignore it.... b/c they are know for taking the regulator out due to current load taxing..............
Seems i not aware of the gen. regulator failures due to battery overload conditions .any more info on this aspect?
thanks

My statement refers to the regulator for the blower speed control circuit..not the generator or battery load circuits. [ your car does not have a gen, it has an alternator]
The blower motor regulator will burn up if the load draw of the blower is higher than spec., and they are very expensive.
So, you want to have the blower motor addressed before you burn up the regulator, b/c that is what will eventually happen.
