Left side of instrument cluster, DEAD

Was driving along on a beautiful day here in Texas in my '91 300E when my temperature, oil pressure, and fuel level gauges all just died.

The middle (speedometer, outside temp) and right side (tach, clock) are still working.

Any clue what caused this anybody? Is there a fuse that exclusively controls those left-side gauges that might've blown?

Thanks for any knowledge in this area as always!

Iodyn

Check fuse # 5. It will take you less than 60 seconds to fix, assuming that you have the spare fuse in the fuse box.

BINGO!

Thanks Dennis :p

That was my last white spare fuse, and the others look like they'll go at any time. Where can one find these type fuses? I've never seen 'em sold anywhere.

Thanks again

I couldn't find them at Kragens, so I bought mine from the dealer. A set of 9 fuses costs $3 - I couldn't believe it! Might as well go with genuine MBZ since they're so cheap.
