Thumbs up W126, weak center A/C vents... ?

1990, 300sel.

Rebuilt the A/C portion of the HVAC last summer. Also had three bad vac pods so those were replaced, the typical 126 ones... behind the glove box and the main defroster. Others tested fine.

Now, my air moves properly between vents when the temp wheel changes BUT! one of my center vents is weak (driver side of course) while the passenger center vent blows properly.

Both outer vents blow properly and no leaking air to the footwell nor the dash.

Any ideas?
