8cyl. W124 Wagon?
Were there ever any Production W124 series (TE) WAGONS in 8 cyl. from Mercedes?
For instance, I had a great 1993 400E; did MBZ ever release that same car in a TE or E420 Wagon? Also, is the engine for this W124 V8 series in fact the M119 series engine?

The only somewhat factory W124 Wagon with a V8 were the AMG Hammers.

No V8 wagons until 2003 (I think there was a E500 wagon), and yes it is an M119.

I've seen pics of a Lincoln V8 stuffed into a W124 kombi.

In the U.S. the first V8 wagons were for the 2004 model year in the 211 chassis. Don't forget the wagon was 210 for 2003.
Daimler produced the 210 wagon with V8 engines but never imported any such models for the U.S. market. I've seen pictures of 210 chassis E55 wagons. |
