1986 early 300E PS Fluid level check
Hello, I have an early 300E. The power steering fluid reservoir has a plastic insert similar the ‘92 300TE I have (same motor) but it does not have the lines marked for the level. How do I make sure I have enough PS fluid? I can try to get a pic of it if that helps ...

Is there fluid almost up to the top? If so then you're good.

Then add fluid till it's mostly to the top, but has some room to expand as it heats up.
