What if your parking brakes don't work on any of your cars and even when fixed seem to break again? That's our issue.....the only car with proper parking brakes is the 300D....that thing could park on a wall! I intend to fix them on the 300E soon.....once its warmer I'll be making my way through the brakes/bearings and such.

I've replaced the parking brake shoes on my '87. It was quite a job without the adjusting tool. It's pretty obvious when they fail as you need to push on the pedal deeper as it wears. I think the problem is driving and forgetting to release it...
