License plate bulbs are easy to miss on this car, since there are two of them.
LEDs will trigger the warning on your '99. As for obscuring the ODO, press the "R" button to reset the warning until next time. |

So far, so good. It has been a few weeks since replacing the lamps and I've yet to see a single error message (other than a quick/random/false "Dude, your brake linings are wearing down..." message...).

i have replaced many of the 210body right rear tailight assembly because the metal strips come apart.

Yup, that's the one that came apart on mine. The strips coming apart leads to poor connection, which leads to overheating and - eventually - melting of the plastic surround. From there on, it's impossible to get things right permanently unless you just replace the whole lamp assembly.
