What is the best Code Reader for a 600SEL 1992 that uses OBD1?
I am looking for a good OBD I (ONE) reader for my car 600SEL 1992 that does not use OBD2. Can someone guide me for one?

it is not really obd 1 it is mercedes own propiotary connector, launch x431 is good but is $2000, but works on lots of car's. A chinese copy of the factory SDS (star diagnostic tester) is available on ebay for less than $1000 with a hard drive that is pre programed with the factory software. The hardrive must be used in an IBM T30 laptop about $200 on ebay.

OBDI is really just anything that came before OBDII. It's by definition not standardized. There really isn't any reason to buy a code reader. You can get the vast majority of the information from the home built code reader with about $10 of Radio Shack parts. Try a search - lots of threads, and this:

Thank you everyone for your replies.
Yes I'm looking for codes only and their explanations.
