Last reset at "B" Service about 5K miles ago.

I finally figured out what the deal was. The car is smarter than I am, hardy har har:-) When you shut the engine down it will not check the oil level for a few minutes, just gives the "Perf Serv. On Time" message. I assume it gives an interval of time for the oil distributed throughout the engine to run home to the sump. After typing the post last night, I went back out and checked. "Oil Level OK." When can I expect my "Idiot Question of the Day" trophy?
