1990 300E fog light & turn signal lens replacement

Hi, I have a 1990 300E 124 chassis. Can someone tell me how to remove
broken fog light (Lens) and replace with new one. Also I need to know how to replace the turn signal (Lens) too. They were broken due to hail storms we had. Thanks so much!

The turn-signal assembly is held in place by a clip. Look inside the driver's side fender beside the headlamp, you'll see a spring-loaded plastic clip that needs to be squeezed toward the center of the car until the light assembly slides forward out of the body. Don't squeeze too far or you'll break the clip.

The headlamp assembly is a bit more difficult. With the signal light out, you will see a bolt head in the side to remove the trim beneath the headlamp. There is another bolt on the other end of this trim. The headlamp wiper has a plastic cap that swings up to reveal the nut on the end of its drive axle, it and the wiper arm must be removed. Remove the rest of the bolts around the headlamp and finesse it out through the hole. Unplug the two connectors, headlamp and wiper motor.
There are four clips holding the plastic lense or "headlamp door" over the front, be very careful to only flex these as much as necessary, very fragile.
, there is a plastic 1/4-turn clip on the top,

Thank you Jeff,

I really apreciate the info. I do believe though I will be going to the shop. I am a female that will not be taking on this task. To much could go wrong. Thank you so much for taking the time to reply. Hope you have a great day.

Penny
