vaccum leak
I have a 93 400SEl. When A/C or heat is turned on at idle speeds, everything seems fine. However when you accelerate, hardly anything comes out of the vents and there is a hissing sound. Friend said it is a vaccum leak. Any way for me to check this or is it a job for the shop.
Thanks for any assistance |

To check for a vacuum leak you should use a hand held vacuum pump, do you have 1 at your disposal?
