91 420 sel won't start
Car was running great, got in the next morning and it just cranked and would not fire. Trouble shot to the point that it was not getting fuel. jumped the fuel pump regulator and the pump went on and the car started. I put in a new fuel pump regulator and it worked perfectly for two days and then did the same thing. I jumped the terminals in the regulator slot and it started again only this time the ABS light was on and the idle went high. So I got a new OVP relay and a new fuel pump regulator and everything worked fine again; for two days. It didn't start again this morning and the abs light was on again. I don't want to invest in a new OVP relay and fuel pump relay; any ideas? I am at wits end.

Make sure the OVP and the fuel pump relays are well seated. I once had an issue when I replaced my OVP, I didn't seat it all the way and the car had a hard time starting.
Take your time and don't use a screw driver to pop them out while the battery is connected, don't ask me how I know ![]() |

Thank you, I was very careful about seating the relays and always remove them by hand. Has anyone had this problem?
