I have a 86 300e and I was wonder did some come with a 3 speed tranny or do I need to get my tranny check. And I also have a winding sound come from maybe my tranny or rear end

All 300E's were made with a 4 speed auto trans. Or a 5 speed manual in 1986 & 87.
