TDC / REFERENCE SENSOR

Can't seem to locate the TDC or REFERENCE sensor for the w126 (86' 420sel). Not referring to the REFERENCE RESISTOR. This sensor is similar to the CPS Sensor but has a 3-prong Female connection at the wires end!

It's somewhere on the drivers side of the engine near the front but I cannot find......

Anyone know where???

the sensor is in front of the driver, back of the block, about 1 oclock or so in the trans bellhousing. if you unplug the 2 wire, coax wire that plugs into the ezl, you can follow it back. good luck, chuck.
