I need to do a brake job on both my 1987 560SEL and my 1989 300SE. Can someone tell me exactly which ones of the many bolts on the brakes need to be loosened to take the brakes off? I've done brake jobs before, but never on a Mercedes. I'm still learning, so any help will be greatly appreciated. Thanks in advance...

http://www.peachparts.com/Wikka/W126RearBrakes - here's a DIY on the rears, fronts should be similar, you can also do a search on "126 brakes".

You dont need to take them off unless you are doing the rotors. Take the wheel off, pull the retaining pins on the top and yank the old, compress the piston, insert the new, replace the pins, bleed, replace the wheel and go.
