01 E320 wagon changed crank sensor still problem!
Help ! Replaced cps with original Mercedes part and drove 15 minutes and it died. Code P0335 popped up again, waited 20 minutes and drove home. Started car after I parked it ok! five minutes later no start with same code. 70k on the car.

Possibly the wiring to the crank sensor has been damaged.
MB does make a repair sub-harness for that problem.

Fixed the problem!
Thanks M.B. Doc, put the new subharness in and the problem was solved.

Hey Doc, hope your in. Got a e500 sport 2003 did the same thing. Changed the crank sensor, still cranking. Do you have a part number for the sub harnes? I asked the guys at Benz, they had no clue, acted like they never heard of the problem!
