W126 subframe mounts: worth changing?
My W126's ride feels rather harsh. That was a criticism of the model during its road tests back then, and having bought the car used I cannot tell whether the current ride is worse or normal. But in case it's not:
Some owners claim that changing the subframe mounts have dramatically improved the ride, but my mechanic says that the subframe mounts do not go bad on the W126s... Any further experience one way or the other?

A p/s fluid leak can surely damage the drivers side mounts.
New rubber on a 20 year old car can help suspension woes!
