Where in the USA to get a Trisco scanner fixed?
A few years ago I bought a Trisco CS3000 scanner on Ebay, turned it on and it worked so I put it in the closet until I got a car I could use it on. Well now I have a '94 E420 with the check engine and ABS lights on but the scanner doesn't work. The display backlight turns on but thats it. Anyone know who can fix it in the USA?

I have the "Palm Scanner" version and it needs to be plugged into the car before it will work. Don't believe there's any service outlets in the USA. Even goiing to the main link that Bill posted gets you nowhere. Last I knew, Technic Tool Supply previously sold those units but no longer. Perhaps Maryann @ TTS has a contact number??? |

I tried the Trisco site but its over 3 years old. I called Maryann but she didn't know anything either. I hate to just toss it if someone can fix it. And although I have I have a Programa PC Retriever, the Mercedes section would cost $2000 which I hate to spend for just a couple uses a year.

You did plug it into the Diag Connector? Did you try reseating the "module"??
Did you try to open and see if there's keep-alive battery which may have died? |
