Wheel Shake
Hello out there!
recently bought tires and after mounting, when I brake, there is a front end shake when I slow down at around 25mph. Any thoughts? Thanks |

It might be helpful if you tell us what car you have.

Looks like he has a 420 SEL. I assume it did not do this before you put on new tires? Did they balance the tires? Brake rotors warped? If you had a brake job and they turned your rotors - that's where I would look first. After that it's going to be steering components.

Sounds like warped brake rotors, which is easy to check.... You just drive really slowly and feather the brakes. If you feel the car lurching each time the tires go 'round it's probably rotors.
Since you just had new tires, safety check them for loose lug bolts, and cocked installation.
