A/C question

1989 300te.
Preparing for summer...When I am at speed, great A/C. At idle, stop lights, in slow traffic...cold air turns WARM. Is this normal? Can I resolve it?

Try misting the condenser while watching the high-side pressure. If it drops fast, you probably have an airway problem. You could also be just a bit low on refrigerant.
