I want to buy a used high pressure hose that runs the SRS to the steel line to the rear. I don't know the exact name of it...I am sure someone will assist. Mine had a leak, my mechanic changed it with a homemade hose (putting the little dampers inside the new hose), but I get a 'jet engine' sound when I accelerate. He says that the hose he put in (he didn't charge me) is slightly larger in diameter, thus the dampers may not be doing their job. New, the hose is $250+. I just want to see if this, is infact, where the sound is coming from. A used hose would be a better investment than new.
Where can I get such an item....1989 300te. ????
