Starts up and quickly dies (86 190E)
I have made some progress with this car but still not right. Orginally, it was not getting any fuel to the distribution but now it does. The car starts up and then quickly dies. It will however, run a bit longer with a plug out..It doesn't matter which plug as long as one is out. Just kinda depends on its mood. I have checked and/or changed the following; plugs (bosch), plug wires, cap and button, fuel pump, fuel filter, idle control valve is working, battery is new. I have check fuel pump flow (one liter in under 40 seconds). Fuel pump relay is good. OVC is good. Fuel lines are good and clear (even frame lines). O-ring under FD is new. Vacuum lines are ok..Tank was flushed. Timing seemed to be ok. I have also tried adjusting the lamda tower screw and it doesn't matter. The car reacts the same..
I've tried and tested just about everything that I could think of. Now I'm out of ideas. Where should I be looking now? Ignition module? Any ideas are welcome..!!!
