Question '02 CLK430 ELEC ISSUE POST BATTERY CHG

My CLK has set for 4 mths without driving. Needed to charge the battery on returning, and I noticed the drivers window would go down 8" when I closed the door. If I sat in the car and let it up, it would again want to reset down.

After driving the car for a few miles that problem has gone away.

BUT the sunroof will not auto open when I hit the switch, it goes back 1 inch at a time, so I have to keep hitting the switch for it to open. It will close ok
by my holding the switch to close it.

Will this reset like the windows did ? After starting I had 2 x malfunctions on
the cockpit, but they were both brake related, and reset with no problem.

Again, my Q is will the sun roof reset as well. ?? Never had the problem before charging the battery. ( or when I last drove the car before my traveling )

Thanks

After having a dead OR replacement battery, those systems need re-booted.

To re-sync the sunroof put it in the vent position & then push UP on the switch for another 5-6 seconds. The roof should make a clicking noise that is a signal it is ready for 1 touch operation.
