1998 S500 engine oil leak.

I just bought a 1998 S500 about a month ago. I have noticed a huge engine oil stain on the driveway. It seems to be leaking between the front passenger side wheel and front bumper area. Would using the wrong engine oil cause a leak or is there a commone issue on this model where they leak? I have not had time to check but will and post some possible places. Any additional information will help.

Your oil pressure and oil level sensors are located in that general area. I'll wager it's one of those.

Valve cover gaskets are the most common leaks.
