service warranties
My mom has a 1998 C280 and she apparently received a mailing for an extended service contract from a company called AFI Management (also goes by American Mercury). They are in Deerfield Beach, FL. The local mercedes dealership never heard of them and I'm trying to find out if they are reputable. Has anyone heard of them? I think my mom would feel more secure with an extended warranty but I'm not sure how to evaluate them. The price on this one is fair compared to AAA and Warrantech (via the MB dealer) but I don't know if there are certain exclusions I need to watch for, etc. Any advice would be really appreciated and if I posted in the wrong section please let me knowwhere I should put this message.
