Question Help Service Ijnterval..!!

Guys I need some help in finding what need to be done for the 60,000 miles service on my 97 C36..

I went to the dealer the other day, and ask the service representative that I am going to have the 60,000 service. Then I ask for the list of the things that going to be perform. And the guy said they didn't have one.
Then I ask again: "Can't you pull it off from the computer"

The guy replied: "sorry sir, we don't have those kind of information from the computer"

WTF I mean come on in BMW dealer they can retrieve those kind of information..

So I ask again, don't they have some sort of networking, or at least data from MBUSA.

Again the answer as I expected. "none"

He mentioned that the new mercedes is using the flexible service system, and then I noded yes I know. I even ask them that they should have those kind of information..

So then I ask for the last time.."Then how do you know what need to be done, if bring my car over for service (around $500-$600 he quoted me)".

He replied:"well we have some guy who works over 17 years at the MB, and he should know about it"

Man, I just decide to hang up.
S@#$ for $600 they better know what they're doing.
I am not going to give them the money or the car without knowing what is that "to do" list for the 60,000 miles
I am thinking of going to an independent dealer.

Regardz,

J Irwan
