Are Vemo crank position sensors good quality?
We all see some aftermarket parts which are poorly made-esp suspension parts. Vemo brand is $56 and best wholesale dlr price is about $120. If Vemo is an good OE supplier then it looks good to me. Does anyone know about vemo? Thanks

Never heard of them. I got an OEM Bosch one for about $110 online back in February....it has worked perfectly. On something critical to the cars operation and reliability like that sensor I'd stick with Bosch/OEM MB

Most Vemo products are "China" quality!!
Vaico & Vemo are "Wulf Gaertner" importer parts.

Thanks
Good information. I am happy to pay for better quality. Found a Hella product but decided to buy MB. Bad part = failure to proceed with crank position sensors.

Hella (AB Electronics) can be original OE part...but they also supply aftermarket "China" stuff as well.

final answer CPS tested and was bad. replaced c MB
My favorite tech got the car to reproduce sx by "heat soaking"-letting it get hot. then pulled part and put on ohm meter. He heated it up and R climbed until failure.
Happy ending. Thanks for the Hella warning |
