What can possibly the cause

My 87 W124 vibrates when sits in gear, however, the vibration will stop if I put the car in neutral. Is it something to be concerned with? I do not want to put too much money to fix the car since it has over 260K. But I would like to know what the cause and if it is a minor fix.

My best guess without looking at it would be either the motor mounts or the driveshaft flex disc. Possibly the trans rear mount also. One of those 3 items would be the most likely cause.
