I want to chnage out my fan blade 97' E420?
I just want to replace my fan blade on my 97 E320. Does anyone know what size are the bolts or allen wrench size for removing the fan blade. I guess I have to remove the fan shroud for access. Thanks.

IIRC, on my '99 it was attached with small torx head bolts.
You might have to remove the metal rad crossmember and pull hte rad forward an inch or two to get sufficient access to turn the bit.

I don't think they are Torx; should be Allen.

Radiator protection trick... A square of Cardboard against the inside of radiator. Don't have to worry about that wrench slip poking the rad................
