Buy genuine MB coolant from your local MB dealer. You need a coolant that has a ph of 7 that won't erode/corrode engine internals and cause plastic cooling system components to become brittle. Zerex also makes a coolant that is acceptable for use in engines with aluminum alloy internal parts.

Use the MB coolant or Zerex G05 only. It's not just the pH that limits the corrosion. Never put green stuff in an MB.

The number is not in line with usual MB part numbers, but it is Q 1 03 0002.
