W126: fan lubrication point
Where is the lubrication point for the main fan? I was looking at the shaft housing last Saturday, and there is a small hole on top of the shaft housing about 2-3 inches behind the fan. Is this the lubrication point?
And what type of lube should I use? |

Robert;
all 126 cars I am familiar with have viscous fan clutches. They do not require lubrication. The hole yor're seeing two inches back is probably a vent on the waterpump, this also requires no lube. It would pay you to buy a 126 CDrom. MF |
